Long ago there was a man named Naha.But he ran for his life for braking a kapu. Naha murdered the mean chief for setting the town on fire.He ran for his life because 3 warriors are going to kill him. Naha talks to all the people in the ahupua'a after no one know what do he called upon the god Kanaloa."Oh Kanaloa" said Naha. Naha told the god there are 3 warriors that are going to kill me . So the god said he would help him and the god gave Naha the power to transform in to a pohakue.
Naha ran because he saw 3 warriors. When Naha was alone he transformed in to a pohakue.When the coast was clear he tried to transform backin to a human but he couldn't.Then Naha saw the god smiling."You tricked me" said Naha I didn't do anything you did. You broke a kapu. replied Kanaloa."But you said you would help me,"cried Naha."I helped you see that breaking a kapu was bad.Good bye! said the god.And that is how the Naha Stone became to be And now any one in old Hawaii filped the stone would be the ruling cheif for the mean cheif and King Kamehameha did so and ruled.
